Bringing the house down at Retorrik Mill
One of the biggest highlights of Summer was our road trip down to ‘Retorrik Mill’ in August. It’s one of the lesser known hidden gems in a charming country corner of Cornwall near Mawgan Porth. It’s actually rather special, and each weekend Friday to Sunday they host touring bands and showcase songwriters and suchlike. Really cool ! Our night there was epic and we really brought the house down as the saying goes.
The conditions of the hot summer was prevailing that evening and the crowd were smoothly necking down ice cold beverages to cool down and induce the feel factor ready for the evening gig, and there was definitely some feel good factor that night!! People crowded in towards the stage, created circle pits and danced on the tables! unbelievably high spirits fuelled the fire all the night along. This was an epic night to remember.
