IN MAY 2023, Savage Underdogs released a full band version of ‘WALK ALL NIGHT’.  The early seeds of this song were originally written during the 2020 lockdown as a acoustic number as 3 piece, while Matt, Neil and Greg patiently waited to find band member  and drummer ‘Sam’,  the 4th cog in the Savage Underdogs  collective.

Since the lineup became whole again,  Savage Underdogs could move on.  So a year later, after the band members have musically gelled creatively,  writing together ready for recording new material for a long awaited new Savage Underdogs album. The first of many recording sessions first spawned an early release of ‘Walk All Night’ and music video to give fans a taster release of what’s to come from the new album.

Although the core line up sonically is a four peice  set up of Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, bass and drums, Walk All Night is delicately smattered with bright and joyful Mandolins accompanying lines, which tribute to English folk music, which is very much of  Matt Williams’ musical background aside from modern popular forms.
